HKDSE score needed for UWA: 2027 entry
The University of Western Australia's published table for 2027 entry, matching HKDSE results to its UWA ATAR equivalent from 70 to 98. UWA converts your result to an ATAR equivalent, which is compared with each course's ATAR. Course and major prerequisites still apply.
Academic entry only. We never give visa, migration or work-rights advice: only a registered migration agent can. For those, see the Department of Home Affairs and Study Australia. Home Affairs: student visa · Study Australia
How UWA works out your HKDSE score
Total of your best four Category A or Category C subjects, where 5** = 6, 5* = 5.5, 5 = 5, 4 = 4, 3 = 3, and 2 or 1 count as 0. Category C electives are A* = 6 down to E = 1; leave them out here if unsure, which can only understate your total.

Before you apply
UWA lists, for each qualification, the English subject result that meets its English requirement. See UWA's English requirements.
Meeting a published figure doesn't guarantee an offer, and some courses also have subject prerequisites, portfolios or interviews. Confirm everything with UWA before you apply.
