CBSE marks needed for ANU: 2027 entry
The Australian National University's published table for 2027 entry, matching CBSE results to its ANU entrance rank from 70 to 99. ANU converts your result to an ANU entrance rank. Each program has its own required rank on ANU's Programs and Courses site, and meeting it doesn't guarantee entry to competitive programs.
Academic entry only. We never give visa, migration or work-rights advice: only a registered migration agent can. For those, see the Department of Home Affairs and Study Australia. Home Affairs: student visa · Study Australia
How ANU works out your CBSE score
ANU adds the grade values (A1=4 down to D2=0.5) of English or Hindi and your best four other subjects. Grades can't be worked out from marks, so we show the table without comparing.

Before you apply
ANU sets English requirements for each program, on the program page. See ANU's English requirements.
NCEA: NZQA works out an ATAR for NCEA students each January, and ANU uses it.
Meeting a published figure doesn't guarantee an offer, and some courses also have subject prerequisites, portfolios or interviews. Confirm everything with ANU before you apply.
